Short Pre-France test trip

13 Jul

With fingers like bananas and working on wiring too close to see with my reading glasses it was not much fun putting together the loom for the trailer board. But, it’s done now and functioning correctly. With the caravan lighting isolated, just the lighting board acts as brake, sidelights , fog and indicators. All secured behind the bikes on the new rack. Heading for  a short test break away before the main assault to Angers, Lac de Maine and my favourite cycling location. Tyres pumped up and new “fat bot” saddle fitted to both bikes…..  ahem ! Caravan and Kampa cleaned with a serious spray on and wash it off chemical (before it dissolves  something vital !!!!!) .Ready to roll !  Weather report OK ish. Just hope that my son and his mates don’t drink my cellar dry. Personally cannot see the difference between cycle racks falling off on the A5 in Wales or the Le Mans to Angers AutoRoute but that’s an argument for another day. Anything for an easy life………..
