Retrofit rear seats for NV200 van.

retrofit nv200 seats one
My brother recently had 3 seats retrofitted to his works van. They are a pair of two, side by side and a single rear seat , right at the back of the van. He has already completed a two thousand mile round trip to France with 5 people on board, in comfort.

The seats are complete with inertia lap and diagonal belts. Cushions are firm in the Germanic style, but high backed and comfortable. They look very smart and leave some workspace within the van. His insurers have accepted the fitment for his work use too.

Total cost was around £1500 which includes fitting and VAT. Not cheap but if you consider the cost of say a single “Rally/Race” seat plus mechanisms, seat belts etc it’s not too high a price if you need that extra capacity. I believe that they were fitted by VanBitz, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Hi Buying a nv200 panel van, having real trouble finding a rear seat installer in south east (nr kent) that can fit two or a double bench seat. They all say they fit all vehicles but when I email they don’t do Nv200’s! Found one who can do two fixed seats not til sept. Need them I next two weeks. Would like removable ones or folding. Seen the new crew cab has three folding and mesh bulkhead, that’s fitted in ok. So whats the problem. Need it as a van/car, did not want to buy two vehicles, too expensive. Would appreciate any help.

Hi Carol, got this request at almost 11pm. Will find the name of the company which fitted the seats and post it tomorrow morning. I remember that it was in Fenton, Stoke-on -Trent , which may be too far away for you. I will phone them to see if the job could be done down in S’East by an associate company . Watch the home page on Wednesday!
