Thanks for comments guys ! Hoping to be able to show lots of pics of the finished Campervan very soon.
David’s How To Photos on http://www.nv200forum.com are most useful. It helps make a tricky job much less daunting.
To answer a question, the refillable Gaslow bottle feeds the gas hob and the blown air heating system on Dinkum Kamper.

We are making the main cab curtain to take with us when we pick up the Camper. It will be fitted by Drivelodge using press studs.
Just waiting for the upholstering to be finished, it’s very very exciting for us ! Got a few things lined up to test out the facilities so loads more to come on the Blog. Not least is that we shall be deciding if we can be viable campers without the caravan. Watch this space.

I intend to run in the engine in the old fashioned way. It worked wonders on my last Cooper S bought in 2002 (Mk I from BMW). It had extra oil change part way through running in and ended up being a totally reliable pocket rocket for 7 years of ownership.
Have you run yours in? if you had it from new , of course.
keep the comments coming please. Photos welcomed.

Thanks for that ! Having only driven my NV a couple of hundred miles, I have not as yet looked at buying any oil. A great tip. Will swap over once a few miles are on the clock.

Yes had mine since new, it hasn’t used a drop of oil. Its in for its first annual service next month approaching 7000 miles.
Don’t forget interval on these engines is 18000 miles or 12 months (whichever comes first)

Stefan please check if that oil is for ‘DPF’ engines (if yours is equipped) I think that’s low soot or something a bit like the good old VW pd oil…..
